We are delighted to announce since November 2021 Brambles started selling Scottish Whisky, local Gins, Organic Vegan Wines, Prosecco and Champagne. And we are now one of the biggest suppliers of the BEST Organic Vegan Wines in Dumfries and Galloway.

Champagne, Prosecco and Wines are all Organic meaning the grapes must be grown without synthetic, chemical pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers. This keeps them free from all man made toxins that find their way into the food chain, and subsequently us.
Most, if not all our wines are Vegan friendly which means they are made without any animal product. Did you know that traditional fining agents are animal products (Animal- based fining agents include gelatin (animal body parts), isinglass (dried swim bladders of fish), egg whites and casein (proteins found in cow's milk) which are used to remove tiny particles or sediment at the filtration stage but in a Vegan wine clay or carbon is used instead.
We have also concentrated on stocking wines that are low in sulphur or have no added sulphur.
Wine makers add sulphur dioxide to wines for it's antiseptic and antioxidant properties, preventing the wine from spoiling. However, the sulphur can cause allergic reactions of various types and severity including headaches, rashes, flushing of the neck and face, low blood pressure, sneezing, stuffy nose and breathing difficulties.
In order to prevent these negative reactions, many wineries have opted to eliminate sulphur dioxide from the production process.
Note - There are low levels produced naturally during fermentation so there is no true sulphite free wine or sulphur free wines. The name 'no sulphur' refers to sulphur 'added' during the wine production.
All wines must be labelled 'contains sulphites' unless the sulphur level is lower than 10 parts per million.
